It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul R. Stewart. Paul passed away peacefully at his home on September 26, 2026, at the young age of 56, surrounded by his loving family and beloved pets.

Paul was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but always considered Corpus Christi, Texas, his home. He was raised in Corpus Christi by his beloved parents, Paul V. Stewart and Barbara Stewart. 

To those who knew him, Paul was affectionately known as, “The Entertainer.” He had a way of bringing people together, making them laugh, and making every gathering a little more memorable.

Paul was happiest when spending time on the water or standing in front of a BBQ pit, surrounded by friends and family. Those simple moments with the people he loved were the ones he treasured most.

For more than 30 years, Paul dedicated his life to serving his community through a career in law enforcement. His years of service reflected his commitment to the community he called home.

Paul leaves behind his loving spouse, Amy Jo Stewart; his mother, Barbara Stewart; and his three children: Benjamin (23), Miranda (21), and Julia (20). 

Paul touched the lives of so many people during his 56 years. His humor, personality, stories, and love for his family and friends will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by his family, his friends, his community, and everyone fortunate enough to have known him.

Paul is now resting with his father, Paul V. Stewart. Though he will be deeply missed here, there is comfort in knowing that father and son are together once again.
