Paul Silas Dixon - son, brother, uncle and great fisherman, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2025.

Paul was born April 2, 1945, to the late Thomas and Ida Barnes Dixon.

Paul served his country in the Army during the Vietnam era. He was a fisherman, carpenter and a maintenance man. Paul enjoyed fishing and camping with the family.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Ida Dixon; brother, Robert M. Dixon and his nephews, Mathew Dixon and Chris Dixon.

Paul is survived by his brothers, Thomas Dixon (Danna), Richard Dixon (Janet), Steven Dixon (Shirley); sister-in-law, Monika Messmer Dixon, and many nieces and nephews.

Paul will be greatly missed.

A Fisherman's Prayer

God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day,

and when it comes to my last cast I then must humbly pray.

When in the Lord's safe landing net, I'm peacefully asleep,

That in His mercy, I be judged good enough to keep.
