Patrick Hughes was born on March 29, 1972, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Gloria and Joseph Hughes. He departed this life Friday, June 13, 2025, at his home peacefully in his sleep.

Patrick was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 29, 1972. He graduated from King High School and continued to become a Master Electrician, Electrical Instrumentation and Project Manager.

He was married to Kimberly Hughes on September 20th, 1996, with whom he shared countless beautiful memories.

Patrick worked around Texas and the surrounding states for many years. In his free time, he liked to build motorized RC cars and remote-controlled helicopters. When not working on his gadgets he was a devoted husband and loving father who often enjoyed traveling with his wife, Kimberly Hughes and participating in shooting sports with his daughter Allana Hughes. Patrick found peace and joy outdoors. He enjoyed hunting and the quiet reflection it brought. But Patrick's true passion was golf. He loved the game not only for the skill and challenge it demanded, but for the competition, camaraderie, and spirit it brought out in him and those he played with. On the golf course, Patrick's competitive fire burned bright, but it was always matched by his sense of humor, grace, and sportsmanship.

Patrick is survived by his adoring wife Kimberly and mother-in- law Rona Staberg. Daughters Allana Hughes (Bryan), Desiree Rosario (Jorge), his grandchildren Angel Staberg, Cassidy Staberg-Flores and Avery Garza and great grandchild AJ Staberg. Mother Gloria Hughes and Chris Whitney, his sisters Laura Aguilar (Julio) and Stacy Harris (Gary), their children Tyler and Trip. Patrick leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and loyalty that will live on in all of us.

As we reflect on Patrick's vibrant spirit, we remember his laughter, his love for his family, and the way he embraced life with open arms. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will forever be cherished in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Staberg Residence located at 5504 Lexington Rd, Corpus Christi, Texas 78412.

Memorials may be given to the Hughes Residence at 5301 Bonner Dr, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. The Hughes Family continues to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers.
