IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia
Resendez
June 26, 1957 – December 18, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Resendez. She was called home on December 18, 2022 at the age of 65. Pat was born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas to Rogelio and Aracelia Resendez on June 26, 1957.
A devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many is now at rest. It is nearly impossible to describe such a great life in only a few words; most would say that Pat was strong, loyal, independent and caring. She had unwavering faith in God and in turn taught her children to always seek Christ in life's most difficult moments. She boldly faced any challenge placed before her and would not rest until the task at hand was completed. Pat dedicated nearly 30 years of service to her community as the Court Manager for the Nueces County Court at Law Number 3; a profession of which she took great pride. Since her passing, the family has learned that Pat leaves about 3 years of unused sick leave and vacation time combined; yet another proclamation of her resilient work ethic. She had a great reverence for the law and saw to it that every case was given its rightful day in court. The judges and support staff who had the honor of working with Pat continue to express their love and gratitude for the wonderful woman that she was to them. To say that we will miss her is an understatement, but this legacy of strength will live on in many hearts for generations to come.
Patricia joins now in heaven her parents Rogelio and Aracelia Resendez.
She leaves behind to cherish these memories, children: Patrick Resendez, Laura R. Rosas; grandchildren: Mariah Resendez, Julianna Ramirez, Mark Rosas; great-grandson Josiah, all of whom were the light of Patricia's life, she would do anything for her babies. She is also survived by her sisters: Sandra Isabel Garcia Barraza (Chris), Natalia Garcia (Augustin), and Dennise Melissa Resendez along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom she loved.
We wish to give a special thank you to the I.C.U. Nurses in the North Tower of Christus Spohn Hospital - Shoreline for the gracious care they provided to Pat; their love was certainly felt and is appreciated beyond words.
