Obituary
Pablo A. Benavides Jr. was born on July 23, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a very hard worker and a man that always put family before himself. Everything he did for his family was done out of love. Pablo was a man that just wanted his family to be happy and worry free. If he didn't know how to do a project, he still did his best to get the job done . Pablo made many friends during his lifetime and he is grateful to have had you as a friend. He was a truck driver for many years before getting a job in 1982 at the Corpus Christi State School where he retired in 2010. He was currently employed with the Holiday Inn. While away from work, for the last 25 years Pablo was a very well respected football coach at the Corpus Christi Youth Football League. Mr. Pablo Benavides Jr. is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Manuela Benavides. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Terry Benavides. His 4 kids: Diane Benavides, Pablo (Beatrice) Benavides III, David (Jeanette) Benavides Sr., Jeaneen (Lupe) Garza, his siblings Sisters: Maria Elena (Arthur) Thompson, Gloria (Raymond) Soto, Brothers: Leon (Ofelia) Benavides, Oscar (Priscilla) Benavides, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
We will see each other again and until that day comes we will carry your memory in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will begin at 7pm at Guardian Funeral Home on Monday April 23, 2018. Visitation hours will be from 4-7pm.
