IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Oscar "Randy"
Valverde
April 27, 1968 – September 5, 2020
Oscar Randy Valverde, 52, passed away on September 5, 2020 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to his parents Alma and Antonio Valverde, Jr. on April 27, 1968.
Randy joins now in heaven, his father: Antonio Valverde Jr; maternal grandparents: Oscar and Otila Ramos; paternal grandparents: Fidela and Antonio Valverde, Sr.
He found great joy in spending priceless moments with his wife and family going on vacation. He enjoyed his drive to Houston to visit his daughters and granddaughters and sons in law. In recent time, he was also starting his own business called Guardian Angel tree services, which he enjoyed doing on his spare time.
A perfect day for Randy would be out in the backyard with family and friends gathered around drinking his dos xx, watching his favorite football team, the Houston Texans! Endless memories were made with his grandson Jeremiah, teaching him the quality of life and the value of working hard for the things you want. In Jeremiah's words, "POPO was my best friend." The holidays will be extremely difficult, as Randy brought the spirit to life through decorating and showing unending love. Although Randy has left his earthly home, the faith he shared tells us that he is very much alive today, in the presence of God.
He will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to know him.
He leaves behind to cherish these memories, mother: Alma Valverde; wife: Irene Valverde; siblings: Antonio (Monica) Valverde, III, Albert (Lori) Valverde, Jacob (Anna) Valverde, Monica Sanchez, Elaine V. Gutierrez; daughters: Ashley (Mark) Valverde, Amber (Librado) Valverde, Alexandria (David) Valverde; step-children: Oscar/Adrian Martinez, Ashley (Lorenzo) Franco; granddaughters: Natalie/Jayda Gonzales, Camilla Lewis; grandsons: Jeremiah / Logan Franco, numerous aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
Public Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church
Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Section of Rose Hill Memorial Park, located across the street from the main office.
