Ollie A. Salazar, 54, passed away in Corpus Christi on March 7, 2013 after a long illness.
A Memorial service for family and friends will be held at Guardian Funeral Home, Corpus Christi, at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2013.
Ollie was born in Kingsville, Texas on February 3, 1959. He was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. In retirement Ollie spent his time with family, studying God's word and tending to his flowers and trees; he was a Master Gardner and was always doing his part to make the world a more beautiful place.
Ollie is survived by his wife Alma (Sally) and their children, Joe Saldaña (Peggy), Robert Saldaña (Maricela), Dorian Saldaña (Jennifer), Lauralinda Moore and Jordan Salazar; his mother Ofelia Salazar; five beloved sisters and five grandchildren: Robert Jr., Audrey, Judaea, Josiah and Jake.
Ollie was preceded in death by his father, Tom Salazar Jr. and brother Sam Salazar.
