On Sunday, January 24, 2021, Noemi P. Barrientos, who was 70 years young, was called to Heaven while being surrounded by family in her home. She will forever be remembered for her kind, loving and compassionate soul. Noemi had a personality that would warm anyone's heart and an infectious smile that would light up any room. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be missed tremendously.

Noemi spent her early years of marriage as a stay at home wife then went on to become a certified nursing assistant and daycare school teacher. She spent her life taking care of others and had a heart of gold. Noemi enjoyed being able to spend quality time with her grandchildren and cherished being able to watch them grow throughout the years.

Noemi was born on August 2, 1950 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico to Francisco and Dominga Perez. She was the oldest of her 4 siblings: Rosa Luera, Esther Gonzalez, Frank Perez and Marta Salazar. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Roberto Barrientos ; her children Alfredo Davila III (Jessica), Veronica Zamora (Mark), Roberto Barrientos, Jr (Teresa) and Jennifer Marie Salinas (Maximiliano); and her thirteen grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Guardian Funeral Home: 5922 Crosstown Access Rd., Corpus Christi, TX 78417. The viewing will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the Rosary at 11:15 AM and Burial at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
