Obituary

It is with great sadness that the family of Ninfa Ruiz announce her peaceful passing at the age of 72 on the morning of March 4, 2022.

Ninfa was born on November 3, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas to Feliza Santos. Ninfa was a graduate of Foy H. Moody High School and spent years working at Handy Andy grocery stores, Trailways bus stations, Lynn Haven Nursing Home, and eventually retired from Corpus Christi Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Ninfa was a devout Catholic whose faith was unwavering and passionate. Her heart was loving and kind and no matter where she was, or how long it had been, she would always stop and catch up with any family member, friend or colleague should their paths cross while out in town. Ninfa always gave more than she took, especially to those who she invited into her home. She would always welcome any guest to a meal or a quick bite to eat and always lend a listening ear to any troubles or joys.
When the days' weather permitted, Ninfa would spend her afternoons tending to the Garden that was passed to her by her mother and would often pick up a needle and thread to mend any garment a loved one would ask her to alter.
Though Ninfa has passed on to eternal life in the kingdom of Heaven her love and memory will live on through her family and friends. She is survived by her brothers Roy and Martin, her son Ernest and wife Crystal, and granddaughters Niionie, Emalina, and Camille.
Ninfa was, and always will be revered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother.

All funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022
Public Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel A.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be at 1:00 p.m. with a Chapel Service to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m.
Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Rose Hill Memorial Park
