Nathaniel Martinez passed away on June 12, 2024, at the age of 19. Nathaniel Martinez was born on October 13, 2004, in Corpus Christi Texas to Martha Espinoza and Jose Rey Martinez.

Nathaniel Martinez is survived and will be forever missed by his mother Martha Espinoza, Sisters Destiny Rios, Breanna Rios, Mariah Martinez, Nephew Luca Baldazo, Girlfriend Ruby Raquel Mendoza, Grandparents Maria Espinoza and Catalina Martinez and Juan M. Martinez and Aunts and Uncles Luis Napoles, Carmen Lazo, Ramon Napoles, Maria Elena Solis (Octavio Solis), Marylou A Perez (Roberto Perez), Helda A Espinoza, Ramon Espinoza Jr., Maria Martinez(James Villarreal), Juan Martinez (Jennifer Martinez), Jesus Martinez (Luz B. Martinez), Martin Martinez, Rosa Lopez (Randall Lopez), Frank Martinez, Angel Martinez along with numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father Jose Rey Martinez and his grandfather Ray Espinoza.

Nathaniel, who also went by "Nate" will always be remembered for his kindness and goofiness and his love for his family and friends. He always had a smile on his face and would always love to joke around. He loved to hangout with his friends and his sister Breanna. He loved to shop like his mother always wanted shoes and name brands. He will be greatly missed by all those who know him.

Public visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a holy rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. followed by shared memories of Nathaniel.  Visitation will continue on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Guardian funeral home starting at 8:00 a.m. with the funeral procession to depart the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church 2509 Nogales/MacArthur. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park cemetery.
