It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nam Phan , 40, who passed away in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 14, 2023.

He was born on March 14, 1983 in Vietnam to his parents Nien Phan and Hoa Lee.

Nam was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

As we call to mind the spirit of Nam's life, we remember him for the devotion had for his children and his family. Beneath his tough exterior was a gentle soul with a giving heart. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. His sarcasm and sense of humor always brought a smile to the room. A perfect day for Nam would be to have his family gathered around, breaking bread together, as one. He enjoyed all types of food! We must say, Nam was a risk taker, he truly loved the art of poker! His two children were the light of his life; any chance he got he would spend it with them. He would do anything to see his princess Alexis and his son Luke, smile. The memories he blessed his family with will live on for generations to come.

Nam is survived by his two children, Alexis Quynh Phan and Luke Huy Tran; his companion and mother of his children Lien Tran; his mother Hoa Lee; siblings: Mina Phan, Macy Phan, Ny Phan and Ninh Phan; along with a host of extended members of family and friends whom he loved.

All Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown Access Rd. (SH 286) Corpus Christi, Texas 78417; public visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the Catholic Chapel Service to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. that afternoon. All public services will conclude in the chapel.
