David M. Infante, 87, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away peacefully on Wednesday,
August 24, 2021. He was born March 8, 1934, in Brownsville, Texas, to Ruben and
Raquel Infante. He was a simple, loving man to his family. He enjoyed listening to
Mexican music, watching western movies, and wrestling, which he was an avid fan of.
He will also be remembered for his famous quote "Why you cry."
David is preceded in death by his son, David Infante Jr., parents Ruben and Raquel
Infante, brother Eleazar Infante, sister Delia Infante, and daughter-in-law Matilde
Infante.
He is survived by his wife Marcela Infante, three children, Carlos Infante (Matilde), Gilda
Vasquez (Noe), and Baldemar (Michelle), eight grandchildren, three great
grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
Viewing visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021,
at Guardian Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 5922 Crosstown – SH 286, Corpus
Christi, Texas, 78417, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Guardian
Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 5922 Crosstown – SH 286, Corpus Christi,
Texas, 78417. Interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
