Pablo Munoz, Jr., passed away on April 25, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on July 3, 1944, in McAllen, Texas, and resided in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Pablo proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army and later built a career as a hardworking truck driver.

He is survived by his brother Robert Munoz, nephews Mauricio Chavez Jr., Robert Munoz Jr., and Patricio Munoz, along with 1 niece, great nieces and great nephews, and other close family members who will forever hold him in their hearts.

Pablo was preceded in death by his son, Pablo Munoz III, his father, Pablo Munoz, Sr., his mother Juana P. Munoz, and his sister Maria Munoz-Chavez.

Those who knew him will remember him for his wittiness, sarcastic sense of humor, and his stubborness. He will be greatly missed.

A public visitation will be held beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m.

A Catholic Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, at 11 am, 710 S. 19th, followed by burial at the Veterans Cemetery, 9974 IH 37.
