IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michele Janet
Nye
January 1, 1962 – December 19, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michele "Shelly" Paquette Nye, who left this world on December 19th after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 62 years old. Born in San Jose, CA, to Raymond and Joann Paquette, Shelly was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a retired TV Sales Manager in Corpus Christi, TX, and touched countless lives with her free
spirit, generosity, and unwavering strength.
Known for her boundless love for her family and her ability to light up a room, Shelly cherished every moment spent with loved ones. Her home was a place of laughter, love, and warmth—a true testament to her compassionate and vibrant spirit. Even in the face of her illness, her tenacious and steadfast nature never faltered. She confronted every challenge with courage and humor, inspiring those around her to embrace life with strength and gratitude. Her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who provided compassionate care and support throughout Shelly's brave journey. Their kindness brought great comfort during her most challenging moments.
Shelly is survived by Frank "Pancho" Nye (husband); Kevin Miller and wife, Carly; Alix and Sonni Nye (children); Brodie and Lennie Miller (grandchildren); Phillip, John, Richard, and Sharon Paquette(siblings).
She was preceded in death by Raymond and Joann Paquette (parents).
Shelly will be laid to rest alongside her father and mother in Saratoga, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Pee Wee's Adoption World and Sanctuary in Corpus Christi, TX (www.peeweespaws.com), where she adopted two of her precious dogs.
Shelly Paquette Nye will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
