Michael Louis Venzon was called into the Savior's arms May 11, 2020.  Family and friends were with him during his final days at his home.

Michael was born in Peoria, Illinois to Louis and Harriet Venzon.  He had an exciting childhood there and mentored to his siblings; Mary (Bob) Kinney, Patty Dion, Jean (Tim) Lappin, Tim (Teri) Venzon, Dianne (Terry Larson) Venzon, and Tom (Mindy) Venzon who survive him.  He joins his father Louis in heaven and his mother Harriet also survives him.

Mike ventured to Corpus Christi to work on the Harbor Bridge in the 1980s.  His servant's heart led him to enjoy many church projects and also participate in community projects such as building the original wooden playground structure at Cole Park.  Customers soon became friends during his career as owner of Mike Venzon Custom Brick Paving and Concrete Construction for 30 years.

He leaves his wife Donna, twin sons John William of Seattle, Washington and Mark Benjamin of Dallas, Texas.  He is also survived by stepchildren Chris Hough, Melissa Yanez and Jessica Shattuck, nieces, nephews, extended family too numerous to mention.  His love for God, his sons and family his cannot be surpassed. "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life.  He does not come into judgement, but has passed from death to life."   John 5:24.
