My Husband. My Daddy. My Friend. My PaPa(Grandpa). He left us for the ultimate fishing hole on June 1, 2016. Though he was a tender man; he was the strongest man we knew. He worked hard but loved harder. Heaven not only gained an amazing spirit, but a fierce ally. Many would describe him as selfless with immense knowledge and a giving heart. He was adored by loved ones and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of accomplishment, graciousness, and an abundant amount of compassion. He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon Leonard and Jewel Inez Schreck. He is survived by his sister Jackie Highfill, brother Steve Schreck, sister Linda (Don) Webb, and brother Robert (Karen) Schreck. His wife, Dawn Schreck, son Joshua (Shawna) Wimberley, daughter Britton (Zack) Adams, and son Connor Schreck. His grandchildren Chance Wimberley, Holly-Hoo Adams, Cody Adams, Mason Adams and many many extended family and friends.

Visitation services will be held at Guardian Funeral Home located at 5922 Crosstown Access Rd. in Corpus Christi on Monday June 6th 2016 at 9:00 am. Following Visitation there will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial donations to be made in Michael Schreck's name at your local Wells Fargo. Per his wishes, his ashes will be dispersed among his favorite fishing holes in a private family setting.
