In Loving Memory of Michael Vanclee Lister

It is with great sadness that we announce Michael was called home on December 30, 2025. He was born on July 26, 1957 to Louis Wimbish and Anease Lister in Corpus Christi, Texas. He attended school at Carroll High School. He was a prior employee with the county.

Michael's Characteristics

Michael enjoyed helping people clean their houses and washing their cars. Michael was so funny. He would give you the shirt off of his back. Michael was baptized at an early age and he loved the Lord.

Preceded in Death By

He is preceded in death by his parents Louis (Dewboy) Wimbish, Anease Lister, and stepfather Lloyd Lister Sr. Brothers- Daniel (Chubby) Johnson, Dewboy Lister Sr. and sister- Brenda (Grant) Lister.

Surviving Family

He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings- David (Brenda) Guidry, Henry Guidry, Lloyd (Juanita) Lister, Losestine (Arthur) Pettis, Wilhelmina Stackhouse, Lillie (Felton) Williams, Romeo (Deborah) Lister, Joe (Shanelle) Lister, Anease Lister, and Edward Lister. He also leaves nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Service Information

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, January 10th from 10-11am at Guardian Funeral Home and the actual Service will begin at 11am.
