IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Matthew Paul
Gray
July 8, 1994 – June 21, 2024
Matthew Paul Gray, also known by Heathen by his fellow brothers and sisters in the Calaveras MC, passed away June 21, 2024 at the forever age of 29. Matthew was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 08, 1994. Many of his brothers also knew him as Bird Dog, when his alter ego came into play.
Matthew married his wife Samantha, December 22, 2023 in a traditional MC wedding surrounded by loved ones and friends. Matthew was a loving son, brother, grandson, husband and above all else the world's best dad. He enjoyed riding his Harley with his brothers and sisters in the MC, spending time with his best friend and confidant (his momma), and loving on his babies. He had an infectious smile and a laugh that lit up any room he walked into. He was a very loving person who would do anything for anyone and he was always a phone call away to anyone that needed him. Matthew was an extremely dedicated, a hard worker who never gave up. His un-wavering devotion to his family was unlike any other.
Left to carry on his memory and cherish him is his wife Samantha and their three young children Novalee Beth, Sebastian Luke and Darcy AnnMarie. His mother Terrie Wilburn(Jered, Kensley, and JJ Campbell). His father Jason(Brandi) Gray. He also leaves his younger siblings Ashley Gray (Paul and Louise Dennis), Audrey Gray, Emma Reynolds, Connor Reynolds and Mollie Clark. His grandparents, Harold and Renee Wilburn, Carole Wilburn, Charles and Jenelle Gray.
Matthew is now reunited with his beloved grandmother Linda Rutherford Gray, Uncle Todd Gray, Uncle Damon Williams, great grandparents and the most beautiful reunion will be his brother Justin Gray, whom he can now duck hunt and tear the roads of heaven up with.
We request your company in services to cherish his life at Guardian Funeral Home on July 6, 2024 at 1-2pm . The viewing for friends and the community starts at Noon and will close at 5pm.
We ask at this time that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to an account designated for Novalee and her future. We will set up a GoFund Me for donations to be made.
We appreciate all the thoughts and condolences at this time and appreciate everyone who is able to join us to lay this beloved Son, Brother, Father, and Husband to rest.
