Matthew Jacob Garcia passed away on May 31, 2022 at the age of 18.

A beloved son, grandson, brother, cousin and friend to many. Matt leaves behind a legacy filled with laughter, joy, and love for his friends and family. With a kind hearted spirit, he brought great light into our lives. He was a proud senior at W. B. Ray High School, Class of 2022. The priceless memories that he shared with those around him will live on forever in our hearts.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home Chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 710 S. 19th. Street.  Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery on Ocean Dr.
