Matilde San Miguel Garcia, 78, passed away June 30, 2013. She was born March 15, 1935 to Felipe and Sara San Miguel in Bishop, Texas. Matilde was raised in Kingsville, Texas and moved to Corpus Christi, where she lived her adult life. She worked for many years in the retail business.
Matilde was preceded in death by her husband, Eligio Garcia, her parents, Felipe and Sara San Miguel, brothers, Arnulfo, Felipe, Jr., and Robert San Miguel.
She is survived by her brother, Corando (Margarita) San Miguel, sisters, Maria San Miguel, Minnie Munoz, Elva (Antonio) Maldonado, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Guardian funeral home chapel. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Guardian funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial park.
