Mary Kathryn ( Nelson ) Wilbanks joined her Lord and Savior on September 19 , 2021 .
Mary was born in Coolidge , Texas , on February 7 , 1935 to her parents John and Trixie Nelson .
She is survived by her sister and lifelong best friend, Sandra (Nelson) Younger.
She met and married the love of her life in 1954 . Together they brought to life 3 beautiful children: Sabrina , Kelly , and Randy .
Mary could always be found supporting her husband in any business venture he chose . She worked alongside of him every day , but would go home early to make gourmet meals for the whole family . On weekends , family and friends would gather at t h e lake house in Mathis, Texas. Mary found great joy in cooking for large crowds , and loved to entertain . Her motto was " the more , the merrier . " This included opening her house to any family member that needed a place to stay.
Mary was very mild mannered , but had a witty comment to make about every situation . No matter what twist or turns life might bring , she handled it with love , style , and grace . Mary fought a courageous battle with vascular dementia , a l ways having a sweet attitude and precious smile .
Mary is survived by her daughters: Sabrina Barsotti , ( husband John ) , Kelly Jordan , ( husband John ) , and son: Randy Wilbanks ( wife Regina ) , grandchildren: Chris ( wife Ashley), Shaun ( wife Stephanie ), Candace ( husband Nathan ) , Taylor , Michael , Richele , Rianne , Karrah , Jessica , Anthony , Kayla , Kendra , and Colton . She had 20 great- grandchildren and had jus t recently become a great , great grandmother . Mary had numerous nieces and nephews she adored .
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Randy Wil b anks, Sr.; both of her parents; and her in laws .
She will always be loved and forever be missed .
