Mary Lou Tellez, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 12, 2019 at the age of 49 . Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on August 22, 1969 to Jose Luis Tellez and Micalla Lopez.
A beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend; now our Guardian Angel in Heaven.

Mary Lou devoted her life to her family. She provided each of her children with love, strength and hope; to carry with them through any battle. With a generous heart, she would give the shirt of her back to any one in need. For many, she was a shoulder to cry on, a helping hand, or simply a friend with an open heart. Most will remember her by the smile on her face, or the joke on her lips, her contagious laugh could lighten even the darkest days. She enjoyed listening to classic rock music and loved her horror films! The kids always knew mom was ready to clean house when they woke up hearing Tejano music playing full blast on the stereo; although not much cleaning occurred as mom couldn't stop dancing. The music would fill her soul as she moved to the beat of the drums, many envied her great skills; very few could keep up. The wonderful memories she blessed us with will continue to live in our hearts forever.

She joins now in heaven her husband Jose Sanchez.

Mary Lou leaves behind, to cherish these memories, her children: Julio Espinoza, Michelle Espinoza, Stephanie Guzman, and Mark Guzman; grandchildren: Alexis Rocio Ortiz, Carly Rae Espinoza, Aydan AlanRay Young; father: Jose Luis Tellez; mother: Micalla Lopez; siblings: Jose Luis Tellez, Jr. (Sylvia), Yvonne Tellez, Gloria Ortiz; dear uncle: John Tellez; father of children: Pete Guzman (Margaret); numerous other loving members of the family, countless nieces, nephews, and cousin; all whom she adored.

Public Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 15 at Guardian Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 7 p.m.
