Mary Frances Quiroz Perez, 87 years of age, went to be with her heavenly father on December 25, 2013. She was born in Luling Texas on December 31, 1926 and resided in Corpus Christi Texas. She was educated in San Antonio Texas, attended cosmetology school and interior decorating class. In her youth she enjoyed fashion, dancing, and loved to entertain and could charm a room full of people. She married Daniel Perez of Corpus Christi at age 19 and enjoyed being a loving wife and mother. Some of her passions were socializing, gardening and fishing. Her greatest loves of all were her nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and her pet chihuahua Cowboy. She is survived by her five children, Anna Marie Perez Reeves, Diane Perez Sanchez, Daniel Perez JR, Judeth Perez, and Jude Anthony Perez. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Guardian funeral home chapel B with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon Monday, December 30, 2013 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic church. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery.
