Mary Meyer Dettman passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 88.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. George Henry Dettman.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Meyer (Joyce) and Marvin Meyer (Byrona), grandchildren Sarah O'Rear (Josh), Julianna Crain (Trey), Patrick Meyer (Katelyn), and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by George's daughter, Georgana McNeil.

Mary was a longtime devoted member of The Church of the Good Shepherd. She served as a Lay Eucharistic Minister and was a member of The Daughters of the King, The St. Francis Guild, The Altar Guild, and she spent many enjoyable hours as an Egg Lady.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, at The Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, 700 S. Upper Broadway, Corpus Christi, Texas. The family kindly asks that all in attendance wear masks inside the church.
