Mary Elisa Caceres (Mary Alice Garcia, Mary Rose, Maruka and Momo) went home to join her loving husband for eternity on 12/10/16. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reynaldo & Consuelo Garcia; sister, Gloria Galvan,; and her beloved husband, Ernesto Caceres.
She is survived by her two sisters, Mamie (Robert) Rovira, and Frances Rodriguez; her loving children, John (Ann) Flores, Lori (Michael) Patterson, Jaime Garcia, Jesus Garcia, Adrianna (Jonathon) Bermudez; a special stepdaughter, Terry Garcia; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Mary was 66 years old; she enjoyed traveling and gambling with friends and family. Well known for her loyalty to family, her witty personality and fire cracker attitude. Mary studied at Contra Costa College, Draughons Commercial College and Del-Mar College. She worked in the business administration field during the day and evenings worked as a bar manager to provide for her children. A thoroughly upright straightforward person; she was a go getter who wasn't afraid of anything or anyone.
Memorial Services will be held at Guardian Funeral Home located at 5922 Crosstown Expy #H286 Corpus Christi, TX 78417 on 12/29/16 at 9am, proceeded by the burial service held at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery located at 9974 IH 337 Access Rd Corpus Christi, TX 78410.
In lieu of flowers or monetary donations the family requests that it be donated to the Wounded Warriors Project in honor of Ernesto and Mary Caceres.
