IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Alice
Barrientez
March 15, 1951 – September 21, 2024
Mary Alice Barrientez, 73, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away peacefully in her home on September 21, 2024, surrounded by love. She was born in Harlingen, Texas, to Irene and Juan Chamberlain, she was the baby of eight. She graduated from Harlingen High School in 1969.
She worked at Southwestern Bell/AT&T, as a service representative/Communications consultant for 25 years before retiring in May of 2006.
She was an amazing mother to her three children Jeremy, Leilah and Marcus. She loved them unconditionally, always putting their needs ahead of her own. She was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, cousin, friend, and grandmother. She loved music, dancing, gardening, watching the birds, traveling, and spending time with her family. She had a smile that could light up a room, an infectious laugh that made you laugh, a lion's mane aka her hair and sneezes you could hear a mile away. Although she was little, she was fierce and will be greatly missed.
Mary Alice is preceded in death by her beloved husband Daniel Barrientez Sr., Her mother Irene Chamberlain, Sisters Isabel Lozano, Odelia C. Schnarts; brothers Richard Chamberlain, Arturo Chamberlain, and Henry Chamberlain.
She is survived by her three children: Jeremy Sandoval (Roxanna), Leilah Alaniz (Randy), and Marcus Sandoval (Savannah), her grandkids Jeremy, Gabriela, Ysabella, Mia, Lucas and Andie. She also leaves behind her sister Ofelia Quezada and her two loving dogs, Chula and Chico who never left her side..
