Martin Cordell Harwood, 79, of Corpus Christi Texas, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in the comfort of is home. He was born on October 6, 1942 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Charles Harwood and Sulema Garza Brambila who precedes him in death. He is also preceded in death by his son Eric Harwood and his step father Gabriel Brambila, Sr.

Martin worked for the City of Corpus Christi for many years before retiring several years ago. After retirement and until his death he spent his days quietly with his youngest son, Cord by his side. Despite his failing health he still found joy in life's simple pleasures Coca Cola, 3 Musketeers, and Chocolate ice cream.

He is survived by his daughter, Shina Harwood, sons, Joey Harwood and Cordell Harwood, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also left to cherish his memories are his brothers Clifford (Nora) Harwood of Seattle, Washington, Gabriel (Francis) Brambila, Jr. and Armando (Ovelia) Brambila both of Corpus Christi, TX, his loving sisters Martha Deloa of Corpus Christi, TX, Emily Brambila, and Josie (Ernest) Alanis both of Lubbock, TX, and many neices, nephews and extended family and friends.

Funeral Services will be private.
