Martin Benavidez Jr. age 62 of Corpus Christi, Texas died on Monday January 12, 2015. He was born on February 21, 1952 in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Martin Benavidez Sr. and Maria Elsa Benavidez. He was a Catholic and loved the Dallas Cowboys. Martin is survived by his dear and loving wife of 42 years Mary Ann. His two sons Martin Benavidez III and Michael(Melissa) Benavidez and one daughter Monica(Brenda) Benavidez all of Corpus. He had one brother David (Terry) Benavidez of San Antonio, and two sisters Betty Jo(Juan) Garcia and Mary Jane(Javier deceased) Garcia. He has 6 grandchildren whom he loved very much.
The Family will receive visitors at 4 p.m. Thursday January 15, 2015 and a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church 710 s. 19th St. Corpus Christi on Friday January 16 at 10:00a.m.
