Mark Edward Trevino returned to his heavenly home on August 24, 2022 at the age of 44.

He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on June 8, 1978 to his parents Charles and Micaela Trevino.

A beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many is now at rest.

Although it is nearly impossible to capture such a great life in only a few words; most would describe Mark as generous, funny, and loving. He had a passion for cooking and baking and to say his skills were superb is an understatement. He could say he never worked a day in his life because he loved the work that he did; serving as a manager for numerous restaurants and food establishments; he nearly perfected the art of being a restaurateur. As you might imagine; Mark found great happiness in seeing his family gathered around enjoying one his delicious homemade entrees or desserts. It is these simple moments that we will never forget; his love is embedded in these beautiful memories.
May the light he brought into our hearts bring us peace as remind ourselves that this not goodbye, but merely, until we meet again.

He is survived by his wife Valerie Alvarado Trevino and their children: Conner, Trevor, and Anna; his parents Charles and Micaela Trevino; brothers: Richard (Suelema) Trevino, Stephen (Caroline) Trevino; nieces and nephews: Jerika Trevino, Micaela Trevino, Cody Fisk, Samantha O'Neil and Robert O'Neil; along with a host of other family members and friends whom he loved.

Public Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home, 5922 Crosstown , with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. that evening.

Visitation will resume at 9:00 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2022 at Guardian Funeral Home; procession will depart at 11:15 a.m. for the 11:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 3 210 S Padre Island Dr.

Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Memorial Park, 2731 Comanche St.
