It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mark Olivo, who passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026 at the age of 34.

Mark was born on January 14, 1992 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Cristoval and Diana Olivo. He was a loving son, amazing dad, caring husband, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to all. His presence brought love, laughter, and comfort to those fortunate enough to know him.

Mark will be remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, goofiness, and ability to light up any room he walked in to. He enjoyed fishing, hanging out with his family and friends, watching any and all sports, but above all, his greatest joy was spending time with the people who meant the most to him.

Mark is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cristoval Olivo; wife, Samantha; daughter, Kiilee; brother, Abram; niece, Genesis, and grandmother, Carolina Ramirez, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Sharing his additional roots are Jackie, Adam, Adrian and Mary Ann Salinas.

Although our hearts are heavy, we are grateful for the memories, love, and moments we were blessed with Mark. His memory will continue to live on through the family and friends who loved him.

Pallbearers are Abram Olivo, Cody Cano, Cory Cano, Coby Cano, Justin Ortiz, Adam Salinas, Adrian Salinas.

Public visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Service to Celebrate Mark's life at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park cemetery.
