It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Vincent Hernandez, who left us on September 24, 2026, at the age of 56. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, on July 21, 1970, Mark lived a life full of passion and laughter.

Mark was a man who truly appreciated the great outdoors. His passions included fishing, hunting, tracking a fast-paced NASCAR race or cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. His enthusiasm for life was infectious.

He also had a unique and playful spirit. He took immense joy in gardening and hunting for lizards with his nephews. His nieces and nephews held a uniquely special place in his heart.

Mark is survived by daughters: Chelsea Hernandez-Bazan (Carlos) and Elvira Hernandez (Javi), sons: Silverio Hernandez, Christian Cardenas and 7 grandchildren.

He is also survived by his siblings: sisters Mary Jane (Jose) Enriquez, Barbie Elsea, and Betty Hernandez; brothers, David (Lynn) Hernandez and Fernando (Janie) Hernandez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark is now reunited in eternal peace with his wife, Belinda, and his parents, Silverio Hernandez and Clara Hernandez, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his family members: his sister, Barbara Jean Hernandez; his brothers, Silverio Hernandez, Jr., Richard Hernandez, and Timothy Hernandez; and Thomas and William Bucciarelli.

His warmth, unique joy, and memorable spirit will be deeply missed but forever carried in the hearts of his family, nieces, nephews, and all who knew him.

Service Information:

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Grace Community Church, located at 1514 Flour Bluff Dr, Corpus Christi, TX 78418. A small reception will follow the service to continue sharing memories and celebrating Mark's life.
