Juanell Mckinzie Graham, age 90, of Corpus Christi Texas, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026.

Born on November 10, 1935 in Corpus Christi, Juanell lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to her family and community. She was known for her warmth, generosity and compassion and touched the lives of all who knew her.

Early in her life, she worked for First National Bank of Flour Bluff for many years and then as office manager for Graham Valve and Machine Shop. Later she worked for International Bank. She especially enjoyed hunting on the family deer lease near Zapata Texas, and visiting Garner State Park with a large group of family and friends. She loved the outdoors. She was a life long deer hunter and enjoyed spending time with her many grand children and great grandchildren. She found joy in playing cards with the Friday ladies group at the River Hills Country Club. 

She was preceded in death by her late husband Marvin Graham, her parents, Leona Mckinzie and long time Nueces County Commissioner William E Mckinzie, , Sister Elaine Mckinzie Sheets, and Her Brother in Law Jerry Sheets. 

She is also survived by her three daughters, Linda (Jack) Steen of Katy, Texas, Cindy (Toby) Payne, of Corpus Chrristi and Nancy (Brad) Honea of China Texas and her niece Lisa (Leo) Coffey (Hobbs NM), Grandchildren Steven Graham, Cassie Johnson, Beau Johnson, Brandi Pitcox, Bill David, and Stacy Higgins. 

Juanell was the decendant of a family of early settlers in the Annaville area of Nueces County.

Family and friends visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Guardian funeral home 5922 Crosstown Expressway chapel "B" from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore, Texas.
