IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marie Angelita
Hernandez
February 21, 1953 – April 1, 2019
Marie Angelita Hernandez passed away April 1, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 66.
Born in San Diego, Texas to her parents Jose Sendejar and Gloria Salinas on February 21, 1953. A devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend; now our Guardian Angel in Heaven.
Marie had a very kind spirit, which lead her to always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was very generous with her time, with an open heart and open mind, she was ready to hear you out or simply provide a shoulder to cry on. She was very strong in her faith, always trusting in God's plan, even when faced with adversity or struggles. She in turn taught her children to have great faith in God, to be strong, loyal, independent and caring.
Marie Angela was a very successful business woman who sold insurances, cars, and had her own antique shops and boutiques.
She always had a knack for arts and crafts; in recent years she opted to make it her life's work. She opened a shop with her good friend Lissette and together they created and sold many beautiful pieces of fine jewelry and leather goods. She enjoyed attending events like the Peddler Show in Robstown, the Shrimporee in Port Aransas; anywhere she could set up a pop-up shop to share her merchandise with the community. Her intricate pieces of art will continue to keep her spirit alive for decades to come. Always with a smile on her face and a joke on her lips, she left anyone she encountered with a bit of happiness. She expressed everyday of life that one her greatest joys were her sons and grandchildren; they each brought her so much pride and love.
We are at peace knowing she believed in Our Father's promise of eternal life. She will be greatly missed.
Marie joins in heaven, her father Jose Sendejar and a brother Joe Sendejar.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memories, sons: Ricardo (Tanya) Hernandez, Roldan Hernandez; grandson Roldan Ovidio Hernandez and granddaughter Nadia Garcia; mother: Gloria Salinas Gutierrez; brothers: Ricky Sendejar, Carlos Sendejar, Frank Gutierrez, Robbie Gutierrez; a sister: Cindy (Vince) Erno; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and countless friends; all whom she adored.
