Maria Del Rosario Garcia Aguiar- wife, mother, sister and friend to so many, passed away on June 26, 2026 at the age of 71. Maria was born in Robstown, Texas on November 29, 1954 to Ramon Martinez Garcia and Inez Gutierrez.

Maria (known as Rosie to family, friends and her clients) had a life defined by her hard work for her family. She dedicated over 20+ years as a licensed insurance agent where she earned the respect and friendships of many co-workers through her commitment and strong work ethic. Rosie embraced life through her enthusiasm; her passion was helping her clients to receive the strongest plan benefits available to her clients.

Rosie will be remembered for her strength, kindness, loyalty, and the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy will live on through the memories she created and the lives she touched. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Rosie is preceded in death by her husband, Cecilio Dominguez Aguiar; parents, Ramon M. Garcia and Inez Gutierrez; sister, Rosa Ena Garcia; brother, Ramon Garcia Jr, and her nephew, Mark Bazaldua.

Rosie is survived by her loving daughter, Michelle Aguiar and sisters, Esmeralda Bazaldua and Anna Maria Garza. 

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Guardian Funeral Home located at 5922 Crosstown, Corpus Christi, Texas, 78417. 361-853-0155. 

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following day on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church located at 204 Dunne Ave. in Robstown, Texas. (We ask those who are attending the Mass on Wednesday to please meet the family at the church.)
