Obituary
Maria DeJesus Zaragosa born June 15, 1962, left this Earth and joined her Loving Mother Celia P., & father Alphonso Garza in heaven on October 15, 2018. She was a loving, & adored wife to Ignacio Zaragosa Jr.
They are high school sweethearts & spent 40 years, making beautiful memories together. They brought 3 children into this world: Linda M. (Justin) Zaragosa, Juanita I. (Kelly) Zaragosa, and son Ignacio Zaragosa III. She leaves behind 6 grandchildren: Destiny Maria Martinez, Adolfo J. Kaylor, TeyEllen N. Kaylor., Trae Kaylor, Ignacio Izrael Zaragosa, & Annabella D. Zaragosa.
She is a member of a large family, & best remembered for her always loving heart, beautiful smile, & her delicious cooking, & baking skills. The family wishes to thank everyone who came forward in every way, to ease them in thier unexpected time of need. She leaves behind 6 brothers; Alphonso (Caroline) Garza. Enrique (Carmen) Garza. Alberto (Linda) Garza. David (Bernice) Garza, Rodolfo (Janie) Garza. Jorge (Teresa) Garza. As well as her two Sisters; Celia (David) Martinez, & Andrea (Tom) Tanner. She is sadly missed by her mother in law Velia Garza, and her nephew, (who called her Big Momma Mary) Juan Garza & Niece Maricela G. (Raul) Ortiz. Aunt Martina Romero also feels the loss.
She was there for anyone in need, and was often a great person to express your thoughts, and seek her guidance, with no judgement. She was a true angel on Earth, as much as she is in heaven. The family would like to send further thanks to the kinda people & workers at Fresenius Kidney Care & all her close friends, which includes her good friend Estell, who she lost contact with, but always thought about. Private services will be held in her memory at Guardian Funeral Home. She is being cremated, & her ashes giving to those who still need her close to their hearts. No photos will be allowed during the service. A personal request from her children.
