Maria Teresa Perez, 76, went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luis Perez, Sr. and Rosa Perez, a brother, Luis Perez, Jr. In remembrance of our beloved Terry who always went of her way to make sure her family was taken care of. A mother to all who crossed her path. She enjoyed cooking big meals, playing bingo but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by siblings, Trinidad (Micaela) Perez, Gudalupe Perez, Sr., Edward (Janie) Perez, Maria Elena Perez and Angela Ramon and Anna Garza, and numerous nieces & nephews.
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12, at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, December 13, at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rudy Garza, III, Gudalupe Perez, Jr., Zavier Zapata, Gerald Perez, Miguel Gonzalez, Makayla Zapata, Ariana Garza and Mark Gonzalez.
