Maria Zulema Silva , went to be with the Lord on August 15, 2015 while surrounded by her family. Maria was born to Gilberto and Paula Palacios in Alice, Texas March 12, 1932. Maria was a house wife, mother and grandmother. She loved and touched many lives. She is loved and will be missed by many. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Efrain A. Silva (Chito), a sister Esmeralda Palacios.
Maria is survived by one sister: Herlinda (Silverio)Rodriguez, daughter: Nora Lisa Silva, 5 grandchildren: Javier D.(Raquel)Ramirez, Jacob D.(Megan)Ramirez, Ruben M.(Ashley) Bueno Jr., Issa M.(Jon)Perdue, Jesus A. Moreno Jr., 6 great grandchildren: Jovanni R. Perdue, Alynah Y. Perdue, Javier D. Ramirez Jr., Jacob D. Ramirez Jr., Jon S. Perdue Jr., Miyah L. Ramirez, niece: Annabell P. (Alberto)Barrera, great niece: Amanda E. Saenz. The family will start accepting visitors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday August 20, 2015 and the Holy Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. at Guardian Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cyril & Methodius Church Friday August 21, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with interment to follow at 12:00 p.m. at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
