Maria Del Rosario Gonzalez Salas (Chayo) passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 70. She was preceded in death by her parents Reynaldo Salas Delgado, Carlota Amalia Cleto Azocar; her brother Reynaldo Salas and husband David Eduardo Gonzalez.

Maria was born in Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico July 6, 1954. She married David in 1971. In 1979 they moved and planted roots in Corpus Christi Texas to raise their 3 children. Maria was a loving and caring person that enjoyed cooking and gardening. She loved spending time with her family, dancing and listening to her favorite music. She worked 20+ years at Walmart and made life long friends that became family.

Maria is survived by her three sons, David Antonio (Miriam), Walberto (Jennifer), Daniel Eduardo. Grandchildren- Arwyn Lynn, Arianna Rose, Ethan Eduardo, and Maya Grace. She was also survived by 2 brothers and 5 sisters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th at Guardian Funeral Home from 10 am-12pm with the Holy Rosary to be recited at 12pm .
