Maria De Rosario C. Robles Garcia, age 65, went to be with the Lord on June 19, 2023 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born August 4, 1957, to Gilbert A. and Rachel C. Robles.

Also known as "Chayo" or "Mary," will always be remembered for her straightforward nature, love of a good joke, a GREAT cook, and a hard working wife in the care of her husband. She enjoyed fishing, camping vacations with her family, loved her fur babies, enjoyed wearing bright colored clothing with luxurious jewelry, going to movies, bingo date nights with her husband, and was a devoted Dallas Cowboy, Houston Astros, and Corpus Christi Hooks fan. She survived kidney dialysis for 13 years before her kidney transplant in March 2021. Chayo became a second mom to her younger sister, after parents' deceased, giving strength to her sister to continue on.

Mary was a good loving wife, mother, grandma, sister, niece, cousin, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert A. and Rachel Robles, her only brother Richard C. Robles, and sister in law Anna V. Robles.

Mary leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband of 23 years Manuel Garcia Jr., sister Nancy Robles Garcia (Tomas), her two children George Sauceda and Elizabeth Sauceda Hood(Trey), her step-children Norma (Ray) Trevino, Lisa (Shahrokh) Solis, Debra Salinas, Genave (David) Lambert, Manuel (Iris) Garcia III, four nephews, three nieces, and four grandchildren, four uncles, five aunts, numerous cousins, and friends.

Mary "Chayo" will be sadly, greatly missed by all who knew and loved her very much.

A private family viewing will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Guardian Funeral Home.
