Mrs. Maria Leola Leal Rosa, born on March 10, 1932 in Shiner, Texas, a life-long resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. She moved to her Heavenly home on September 14, 2024.

She was a beloved wife and mother.

Maria Leola is preceded in death by her parents Leonardo Leal and Treney Alvarez Leal, her beloved husband Raymond Rosa, daughter Jessica Rosa and her brother Nune Leal.

She is survived by her loving daughters, DeeAnn Rosa, (Tony Ramirez), Carla Rosa- Villarreal (Abel Villarreal) and her sister Lea Leal Erwin.

Maria Leola was a caring mother to her three beautiful daughters and loved them unconditionally. She was an educator for thirty-seven years and enjoyed reading novels. She was a wonderful Christian woman of deep faith and compassion. She was kind spirited, very loving, and caring. She spent hours praying for those she loved, knew, and even for those she did not know. Her unwavering belief and passion in the power of prayer and her love for the Lord brought her much joy, comfort and hope to many.

A Holy Rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic church 7210 SPID/Kostoryz Rd. and a Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 11:30 a.m.
