In the early morning hours of January 18, 2022, Maria Nelda Moreno, age 67 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed peacefully from this life into her eternal home.  Nelda was born November 30, 1954 to Baldemar and Francis Sanchez Moreno. For many years, Nelda served as a hair dresser and most recently as a caregiver to her beloved mom, Francis Moreno. Her hobbies included playing Bingo, watching her storias, checking in on her babies, and taking long drives along the beach.

"Momo" is survived by her children, Sammy Sain (Ginger) of Mississippi and Nickie Sain of Austin, three grandsons, Bradley Sain (Kaycee) of Chicago, Gavin Sain of Georgia and Cayden Sain of Austin, mother Francis Sanchez Moreno of Corpus Christi, four brothers and five sisters, Humbreto Jose Vasquez(Margatira), Manuel Vasquez (Lydia), Rosalinda Vasquez Palcias, Juan Roman Vasquez (Mary Jo), Ana Cora Vasquez, Blanca Estella Prado (Ventura), Cynthia Hernandez ( Rick), Oscar Moreno (Mary), Alicia Torres (Raul), and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father,  Baldemar Moreno and twin brothers, Baldemaro Jose and B aldemar JuanMoreno.

A private Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022.
