Maria D. Martinez, 86, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. Born on August 10, 1939, Maria lived a life rooted in faith, family, and unconditional love.

A devoted Catholic, she found daily strength and comfort in reading her Bible. As a dedicated housewife, Maria poured her heart into caring for her home and family, always putting others before herself. Her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit were a blessing to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved children Rachel Rubio, Rosa Dunne, Juana Ybarra, Guadalupe Garza, and Pedro Martinez. She was preceded in death by her husband Enrique Martinez, daughter, Francis Medrano, who passed earlier this year.

Maria's legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren — five generations who carry her warmth, faith, and compassion in their hearts.

She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, who brought her great joy and companionship throughout her life.

Maria's faith and love will continue to live on through her family, whose lives were deeply shaped by her example of devotion and grace. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Public visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Guardian funeral home chapel with a Service to Celebrate Mrs. Maria D. Martinez's life to begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial  Park cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
