Maria L. Lozano passed away om July 23, 2021. She was 73 years of age. Maria was born on May 17, 1948 in Canton, Ohio to Luis Avila and Julia Aguilar.

Our Beloved mother, Maria Luisa Lozano, passed away in her sleep on July 23, 2021 after a long and hard fight with 2 separate cancers. Through it all she always had a smile to share, a listening ear and a heart of gold. She was survived by her 4 children John, Michael, Anna Liza and Luis whom she was very devoted to. Mary was born in Canton Ohio on May 17, 1948 to Julia Aguilar DeLeon and Luis Avila.

She has been a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends..

Mary loved gardening, shopping, and spending time with her family and she always found a reason for celebration. Mary was known for her heart to serve others, she demonstrated this through her career as a realtor which she enjoyed for over 25 years. She really went above and beyond when she found a chance to help someone.

Mary is also survived by her mother Julia and step father Eduardo DeLeon, her sisters Linda, Celia and brother Juan Luis, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter and extended family. She was preceded in death by her father Luis Avila and her sister Armandina Acevedo.

Friends and family are invited to say a final goodbye to Mary at Guardian Funeral Home on Friday, July 30, 2021 starting at 9 a.m. with a Celebration of Life service to be held at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Seaside Memorial Park at 2:30pm.

There will also be a reception following the burial at Second Baptist Church
