Obituary
Maria Dolores Garibay passed away July 12, 2019 at the age of 60. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to her loving parents Domingo and Ester Garibay on November 27, 1958.
A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many.
Maria had a strong faith in God, trusting in Him to guide her through every trial. She in turn taught her children to be strong in their faith, to be loyal, independent and caring.
She always had a way of making people laugh, most will remember her by the smile on her face and the joke on her lips. She had an outgoing soul, some would say she never met a stranger. She was definitely the life of the party. A perfect day for Maria would be having all of the family gathered around sharing cold drinks and playing loteria. It is impossible to try and capture all of the memories which she blessed us with but we know she is not gone. The legacy she left behind through her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will live on for generations to come. We will miss her dearly but we will celebrate her life forever.

She is preceded in death by her daughter Maria "Bebe" Vega; father of children Andy Rodriguez; and both of her parents.
Maria leaves behind to cherish these memories, daughter: Mende Jo Garibay and her children Joleane S. Gonzalez and Luis Gonzalez; daughter: Christy Lee Rodriguez and her children Emanuel Curiel and Joe David Curiel his wife Nauticaliee Reyes and their children Jayceon Curiel and Lanne Curiel; her eldest daughter Bebe's children: Jasmine Vega and Mercedes Vega; sisters: Esther Marines, Mary Ledesma and brothers Joe Beltran, Jesse Garibay, Domingo Garibay.
A Memorial Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Guardian funeral home chapel.
