Marcial Soto (76), passed away on December 7, 2022. Marcial was born on November 24, 1946 in Harlingen, Texas to Epifanio Soto and Rosa Alvarado.

Marcial worked for many years in construction/concrete. He also loved to cook and was the best carpenter around. He was also a huge Dallas Cowboy Fan!

Marcial is preceded in death by his father Epifanio Soto and mother Rosa Alvarado; his brother Epifanio(Spouse Juanita) Soto Jr. and nephew Juan Manuel Salinas.

Marcial is survived by his companion of many years Mary; his son Herman Soto; his sisters Maria Elena Salinas(late spouse Delfino), Maria Guadalupe Montefu, Aurora Velasquez(Aurelio); his brothers Arturo (Adelaida) Soto and Cleofas (Josephina) Soto; grandchildren Herman Soto Jr. and great granddaughter Aleya Soto; numerous nieces and nephews.

Marcial is also survived by Mary's side of the family; her children Diana Flores, Rose Ann Roberts, Elias Vallejo, Alfred Vallejo and John Cuevas, Laura Basaldu and her children; Katherine Basaldu, Julian Basaldu Jr., Robert Basaldu (his Favorite), Jeremiah Basaldu.

There will be a visitation on Friday, December 16th from 9am-1pm . Chapel Service will begin at 12pm with the burial to follow at 2pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
