Manuela E. Vasquez, 92, went home to her Lord and Savior Christ Jesus and to her Alberto (Beto) Vasquez, December 26, 2020. She was born March 14, 1928 to Jose and Cruz R. Elizondo in Dolores, Texas. She was a long time member, choir member, and faithful servant to her Lord until her passing. She married Alberto on March 2, 1947 after he came back from serving in the WW II war overseas. To that union they had seven children. Her husband Alberto of 72 years preceded her in death along with one daughter, J. Teresa V. Cavazos and her granddaughter, Melissa Doris Guillen. She leaves to cherish her memory, six children, Ofelia Vasquez, Marta (Juan) Martinez, Alberto E. Vazquez II (Yolanda), Daniel Vasquez (Diana), Doris V. (Robert) Guillen, and Homero Vasquez (Sandra). Alberto and Manuela had 18 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Her sisters, Leonor Martinez, Gloria Cuellar, and Margarita Leal. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a faithful servant at Primera Iglesia Baustista. Funeral services will be officiated by Primera Iglesia Bautista Pastor, Raymond Gonzales at 11:30 a.m. Monday, January 11, 2021 at 1509 Tarlton Dr. Her burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetary. Please wear mask and follow church and cemetery guidelines due to COVID-19. Pallbearers will be: Alexander X. Martinez, Esteban J. Cavazos, Robert V. Guillen, Ariel David Guillen, Adrion Seth Guillen, Gilbert Ramirez II.
