Corpus Christi - Its is with great sadness that the family of Manuela " Mandy" L. Sanchez announce her peaceful passing lost the cancer battle at the age of 74 on Wednesday afternoon, October 27, 2021.
Manuela was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1947 to Fidel M. Lopez(decease) and Josefa R. Lopez(decease). Manuela was a proud graduated from Mary Carrol High School. She studied Beauty College and worked as a hair dresser for over 50 years. She was a catholic member at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Church in Corpus Christi, Texas where she did allot of her missionary work in Mexico and here in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was also a choir member at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church for over 20 years. She was a CCD teacher at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Manuela was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and special aunt and grand aunt and great grand aunt.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years to Ramiro L. Sanchez. Three sons Richardo Sanchez still born, Ramiro L. Sanchez Jr.and Rolando Sanchez. Manuela also has three grand children Alexis Brianna Sanchez, Ramiro James Sanchez and Eli Nathaniel Sanchez. Manuela also had one Great- grandson Xander James Sanchez. She also leaves behind three sisters Isabell L. Palacios (Frank Palacios), Beatris L. Morales and Dolores L. Guajardo, two brothers Fidel L. Lopez Jr.(decease) and Albert R. Lopez (decease) Carmel S. Lopez. Numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and grand nephews and numerous great grand nephews and great grand nieces.
Her life was consumed by her devotion and love for her God, family, friends, and neighbors. She was a giving, caring and unselfish individual. The center of her universe was family. There was never a day or time when she forgot someone's birthday which was always followed up with a card or phone call, or both, or failed to send a get well or sympathy card to a friend or neighbor. She will be missed by every person who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for the many simple acts of kindnesses she showed every day in her life's journey. For the goodness in life that she made possible with a willing and caring heart.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. On Wednesday November 3, 2021, with a Rosary at 6:30pm at Guardian Funeral Home in Corpus Christi,Tx. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:45am on Friday November 5, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Tx, Burial to follow at RoseHill Cemetery in Corpus Christi ,Tx.
