Manuel Cisto Fernandez 65, passed away February 23, 2018. He was Born October 8, 1952 in Karnes City, Texas.
He was Preceded in death by parents Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Fernandez Jr.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty five years, Herlinda Fernandez, Four Daughters: Joanna (Raymond)Acevedo, Melissa (Jesse) Cruz, Debra (Jesse) Esquivel, Angela Fernandez( Schavaun Davis), One Son Manuel Fernandez IV(Donna Lopez) Grandchildren:Jared Cruz, Jake Cruz, Katelynn Acevedo, RJ Acevedo, Brooke Esquivel and Jazmin Lopez a sister Pauline Cruz(the late Carlos).
He was a 1972 Graduate of Foy H. Moody HS. He married his Junior High school sweet heart Herlinda on December 9,1972. He was a long time baseball player, coach, and umpire. Baseball and softball was his life. He loved to joke around and had many laughs with family and close friends. In 2017 he Retired From HEB. He Loved spending time with his grandkids and at the ball park. He loved his wife dearly. He was a loving husband,father and grandfather.

Honorary Pallbearer- RJ Acevedo.
Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Guardian funeral home with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Holy Family catholic church/Nogales St./MacArthur. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens cemetery.
