Manuel Doyce (Doc) Harvey, 90 , of Corpus Christi , went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
He was born on September 29, 1929 to William M. Harvey and Bessie L. Walker Harvey in Breckenridge, Texas .

He joins now in heaven both of his parents; brother Jerry K. Harvey, and infant brother Billie Harvey.

Manuel proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and continued to serve through Civil Service at numerous Military Bases, until his retirement as a Federal Employee. Manuel completed his working career with the Nueces Ag Service, spotting for his cousins Elton Dale Brown with whom he had a long friendship. Proudly wearing the company hat everywhere he went!

A perfect day for Manuel would be out on a pier fishing, in open field hunting wildlife or simply enjoying the outdoors while gardening. He spent countless years, combined, camping at Lake Corpus Christi. He dedicated much of his time and energy raising his cockatiel birds, a hobby of which he found great joy. Although he lived a full life, he will be dearly missed. The faith he shared tells us that he is very much alive today and will continue to live in our hearts, for generations to come.

Manuel is survived by his wife of 62 years Helen Marie Meyer Harvey; sons: Eddie H. Harvey and his spouse Kathy and William Paul Harvey both of Wichita Falls, Texas ; one grandson Clayton Harvey and his spouse Kim, of San Antonio, Texas ; beloved cousin whom he treated like a sister: Patsy Sue Wolfe of Fairbanks, Alaska , whom he would communicate with almost daily via email; beloved cousins: Peggy Powers of Breckenridge, Texas and Paulette Nolan of Jerseyville, Illinois ; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved.

Due to precautions still in place; a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
