It is with great sadness that the family of Manuel L. Corral announces his passing of a long illness at the age of 83 on Thursday July 18, 2019.

Manuel was born in La Mesa New Mexico moved to Las Cruces New Mexico and attended school there.  Graduated from Las Cruces High School, then shortly thereafter enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Goose Bay Labrador Air Base for 4 years.  After that he worked as a route salesman for Frito-Lay for 17 years and then worked for Adam's Extract.

Manuel spent his retirement with his wife Shorty until his death.  Manuel was preceded in death by his father, Eusebio, Mother Tomasa, brother Lino Corral and his sister Romelia Apodaca. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Shorty (Elva A. Corral), son, Orlando A. Corral, Daughter, Liza Corral- Perez, grandson, Manuel J. Corral,  granddaughter, Sophia Perez, 2 Brothers:  Rudy and Armando Corral and in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

Manuel will be remember by his gentle, loving, caring way and also by his sense of humor. Manuel always had something funny to say and always made everyone smile. Manuel will be dearly missed by all.

Services will be conducted by Guardian Funeral Home, Wednesday, July 24, 2019 visitation will begin at 5:00  p.m. with Military Honors to be held at 6:00 p.m. and the Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Flour Bluff on Thursday July 25th at 10am.  A reception will follow the mass at 11 at the St. Paul's Parish Hall. The family is inviting all to attend.  Thank you .
